   Comments:  Peter has had over 40 years experience in setting up performance cars.  He races Minis in his spare time and is quite well known in the Cambridge area.  He set my Capri up after the rebuild.  Total cost inc. VAT was £102 for about 2 hours work.  It was great fun doing the rolling road and I was very impressed at Peters enthusiasm and professionalism. He really knows his stuff !

   Comments:  These guys did my cylinder head conversion.  The total cost was £122 inc. VAT which included new valve seats, clean and re-grind, and reapair of broken exhaust stud.  They were a bit slow (about 2 weeks) but I did make the mistake of thelling them that I wasn't in a hurry.  This place is clean and new and they have some nice equipment for doing all kinds of engine work.  I was impressed at the quality of their workmanship.  Very friendly.

   I picked them from your page as someone who could help with a ford engine fitting - I needed a straight engine swap and hoped info from your page would give a better chance than a blind guess from the yellow pages.

   I spoke with Paul and Andrew, who were very helpful and did a job that I am very happy with. I have been back with other business since. They were quick, helpful, and responsive, they gave a good service and offered excellent value for money (they were THREE TIMES cheaper than my local limited motor company in Bar Hill).

   I would recommend them at this time without reservation.

   Comments:  A1 rebuild my diff after it started screaming.  They charged me £352 including VAT to rebuild the diff with new bearings throughout.  They collected my car on a trailer and returned her after the job was finished.  I got a box of very knackered looking bearings from them as a consolation prize.  The diff has been fine ever since - not even a drop of oil.  It was a lot of money but my diff is as good as new and they were recommended to me by several people.  They are quite well known throughout the area.  Don't be put off by the smallness of their premises.  They seemed to be fairly Capri friendly which always helps.

   No full address as he's a mobile mechanic,  Phone & speak to Steve if you only want a Capri enthusiast to touch your car!
   He has Capri spares & extensive knowledge of the car you always promised yourself, He has looked after my 2.8i very well even giving it a full valet after my trip round a roundabout resulted in a 5 litre tin of paint popping it's lid & managing to leave no piece of upholstery spared!! (horrific panic I can tell you). Steve will service in a 40 odd mile radius of Colchester & he's a great bloke, 18 years working on Capris.
   
   He says he has got premises if needed if it's not convenient to do job at your place, he also has trailer so will collect! What more could anyone want!!
